Sherri Spivey is the owner and lead quilter at The Quilting Cottage.  She has over 30 years experience longarm quilting.  Originally from New Mexico, Sherri has lived in the Huntsville, Alabama area most of her adult life.  She and her husband, Reggie, have one son, James.  Her faith in the Lord and her family are everything.  An interior

Sherri Spivey is the owner and lead quilter at The Quilting Cottage.  She has over 30 years experience longarm quilting.  Originally from New Mexico, Sherri has lived in the Huntsville, Alabama area most of her adult life.  She and her husband, Reggie, have one son, James.  Her faith in the Lord and her family are everything.  An interior designer by education and trade, Sherri loves all things creativity.  When she's not quilting, you can find her enjoying a day out on the boat, learning new recipes, or curled up reading.

 Gaylia (Townsley) Nichols was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama.  She learned how to sew from her maternal grandmother at age 8.  At first she was a sewist, making everything from clothes to home decor until 1992 when she made her son’s first quilt.  Since then, she has enjoyed making memory bears, memory pillows, and quilts.  In re

 Gaylia (Townsley) Nichols was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama.  She learned how to sew from her maternal grandmother at age 8.  At first she was a sewist, making everything from clothes to home decor until 1992 when she made her son’s first quilt.  Since then, she has enjoyed making memory bears, memory pillows, and quilts.  In recent years, she has delighted in her embroidery machine and what opportunities are in it.
